As a series that focuses on touring artists, we’re really lucky to be supported by Memphis musicians who appreciate what we’re doing and help out in numerous ways, especially when it comes to spotting astounding out-of-town talent that deserves an outlet here. So when (recently relocated) Tim Regan told me about this amazing woman bouncing between Austin and Nashville, I knew I should pay attention.

Rolling Stone just named Carson McHone one of ten new country artists you should know, she was a stand-out at Americanafest (the clip is from last year’s but you get the gist), and she just tore up the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Her thoughtful, resonant songwriting and classically country voice have been noted and praised the world over, and she’s shared the stage with artists ranging from Jerry Jeff Walker to Gary Clark Jr. to Lydia Loveless. We’re thrilled to have her come by for the first ever Folk All Y’all(-la-la-la-la) Holiday Show.

The show will be Saturday, December 16th with doors opening at 7pm and music starting at 7:30. All tickets are $20, general admission, with 100% of sales going to the artist. This show is part of our Listening Room series, so we’ll be in an intimate but public location and allow guests to BYOB (responsibly). Here are the details …
